Southern Tutchone Storm 6

Kane Dawe scored five times for the Mustangs as the team weathered the Storm on Saturday at Takhini Arena. Lowell Johnston added a pair of goals and two assists, and Jeff Gartshore and Ted Stephens netted one each. Stephens also recorded four assists.

For the Storm, Clayton Thomas and Ryan Hodgins scored two apiece, and both Ryan McKenzie and Scott Horsey added a goal and two assists.

Sports North 10

Alward & Associates 6

Linus Fraser led Sports North with five goals and two assists, and Dale Kulych was a serious playmaker with six assists. Wade Hanna netted a pair, and so did Dustin Slonski. Terry Slonski added one.

Alward’s scorers were Ralph Sembsmoen, with two, and Tyson Hawkins, Alex Reykdal, Blayne Monahan and Jamie Jensen.

Environmental Dynamics 7

Game7 brought its game on Sunday in this high-scoring affair. Danny Johnson led the scoring with four goals and an assist, while Jordan Johnston added two of his own and helped out with four assists. Neils Brouwer, Dwayne MacDonald and Jason Ruttle added goals as well.

The Dynamics had goals from Hugo Bergeron, Jeremy Hookham, Dave Richard and Alain Desrochers, who scored a pair. Andy Connors and Steve Smith scored as well.

Edgewater Hotel 4

AON Flames 3

The Hotel squad edged by the Flames in this close one, with Ross Phillips scoring two, and Brent Stokes and Larry Warner adding singles. Brian Eyolfson recorded two assists.

Brian Boorse scored a pair for the Flames, and Rick Blaker netted one as well.

 

Firth Rangers 5

Yukon Inn 4

Adam Green led the Rangers with the hat trick, in another close game on Sunday. Joel Witten and Phil Roszell scored as well, and Roszell added two assists.

Yukon Inn’s scorers were Dave Pearson, with two goals and an assist, and Mike Blower with a goal. Kelly Collins helped out with three assists.

Northern Avalanche (junior female) 7

Whitehorse Senior Women 2

Talyce Henkel scored a pair for the Avalanche, as it won a decisive victory over the Senior Women on Thursday. Jessica Trotter, Angela Burke, Alex Bouchard, Chantelle Rivest and Jocelyn Boutilier scored for the Avalanche as well.

Ruby Ho and Krystal McKenna scored for the Senior Women.
