William Ronald Mjolsness (Bill), 91, of Carstairs Alberta, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024.
Bill was born on December 4, 1932, to Thora and William Mjolsness. He was one of four children.
He married his love, Lois Brooks, and they adopted two children, Shauneen and Murray. Bill owned Watash Trucking until he retired.
Bill's early trucking career took him to the Yukon where he spent many happy years in Whitehorse with his family.
He loved to snowmobile, camp and fish. Later in life, Bill and Lois moved to Carstairs, Alberta, where they bought a small farm with horses and miniature donkeys. Bill continued to work and play.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Shauneen, son, Murray, and brother, Bruce. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois Mjolsness, his brother, Donald Mjolsness, and his sister, Lois McGuire.
