On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Tasha Breanne Robins, loving wife and mother of three passed away at the age of 38. She had bravely fought pancreatic cancer for the last two and a half years before succumbing to the side effects of the cancer.
Tasha was born in Winnipeg and at the age of nine moved to Whitehorse with her family. She moved to Lethbridge after graduating high school to pursue a university education. She met the love of her life, Jordan, in the summer of 2003 and they were married on July 14, 2007. Tasha and Jordan had 3 beautiful children... Keelan 13, Taiya 10 and Denai 7. Tasha chose to stay home and raise her children and run a day home.
Tasha had a passion for animals, fostering dozens of puppies and kittens over the years. She would help them find loving homes and often kept the ones that didn't. Her love of animals eventually pulled her towards jobs at Vet Clinics in Whitehorse
Tasha loved the outdoors, including, camping, hiking, canoeing, cross country skiing and exploring the wilderness with her family. She was an avid runner, completing the Klondike Road Relay over a dozen times and running a marathon in Brazil to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes.
Tasha is survived by her husband Jordan, three children Keelan, Taiya, and Denai, her parents Robert and Debra Chambers, her sisters Melaynie (Joel) Campbell and Marilee (Andrew) Byers, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At Tasha's request, a celebration of life will be held this summer. Her wishes were to have a camping weekend with family and friends, filled with stories, music and lots of laughter.
