It is with heavy hearts that the children of Miss Svea Green, Nee Orlesky announce her passing away in her home in Whitehorse, Yukon on July 28, 2018 on her 71st Birthday.
Svea was born on July 28, 1947 in the city of Edmonton, Alberta to parents Nick and Ina Orlesky.
Svea spent much time travelling and considered herself somewhat a gypsy as she could never settle down, that was until she moved to the Yukon in 1981 and fell in love with the allure of the territory.
Svea is pre-deceased by her parents Nick Orlesky and Ina Sundin. She is survived by her three sons: Dean Allan Poirier and grandson Timothy Joel. Kirby Loran Rolles and granddaughter Allysa. Ted Edward (Jodi) Rolles and grandchildren Kassandra and Logan.
By Svea's wishes there was to be no funeral, she was cremated and on August 5th she was laid to rest in Fairy Glen, Saskatchewan among her Mother, loving Grandparents and family.
Mom although we mourn losing you we are relieved that the turmoil and pain you had suffered in life has come to an end and we wish you happy travels in the afterlife, until we meet again, sk¥l.
