It is with grieving hearts that the family of Stacey announces his passing.
He died quietly at home, in line with the gentle way he lived his life.
Stacey was an unconventional person in nearly every sense of the word. He was colorful and quirky. He didn't spend his time in pursuit of material wealth or status, instead, he spent his time on his beloved family and friends.
Stacey had a kindness about him that is rare in this world. He trusted everyone. He hated no one.
He had a quick intellect and a sharp sense of humour and loved to make you laugh. He was stubborn. He was loyal.
He never left your home without giving you a hug and telling you he loved you.
He loved to travel and go on road trips in any direction. He loved his comic book collection, his dog Kibbles, music, crazy hats, hunting and fishing in the north, but most of all, he loved his friends and family. His children and grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy.
He leaves to mourn his daughters Kaila, Mercedes (Jon), Natalia, his son Bryton, his beloved grandchildren Myah, Aria, Lincoln, Gerald, Teddy, Charlie, Henry, Mayzie and Zayla, his parents Winston and Judy, his sister Jackie (Rob), his brothers Tyler, Brad (Miranda) and Travis, his nephew Mackenzie (Leigh) and niece Bree along with his extended family and extensive collection of friends.
He joins his little grandson Walter who is glad to have the company of his grandpa in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you tell your friends and family you love them and do something kind for them.
There will be a short celebration of life at the home of his sister Jackie at 6 Aspen Place in Porter Creek on Sunday, September 19 at 3:00 pm. All are welcome.
