It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend: a spiritual woman, a Tlingit elder of the Wolf and Daklaweidi Clan, from south east Alaska, a storyteller and creative soul.
Rose is lovingly remembered by: her daughter Bernee (Blake Evans); her dearest sisters, Verna Lutz and Maisie Smith, her dearest brother Jack Jim (Inez); her precious grandchildren, Max and Charlotte Evans; her adored nieces, Michelle Olesh (Micah) and Nicole Nielsen (Reuben); dear grandnieces Eva and Lilah; and her dear grandnephews Landen and Leo. Loved ones that are with her, are mother Minnie, her step-father Borden, father Scotty and brothers Robert, Dan and Ed.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Rose's Life on Thursday, April 5 at 1:00 pm, at St. Augustine's Parish at 2028 W 7th Ave, Vancouver, BC.
Memorial donations in memory of Rose may be made to Diabetes Canada or to the Atira Women's Resource Society.
