In Loving Memory ~
Robert (Bob) Edward Keller, nicknamed Nabob, 83, of Dease Lake, BC, Canada, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024, at his home.
Born on August 16, 1940, in La Toque, Quebec, to Ronnie and Ruby Keller, Bob's journey through life took him to many places, including Whitehorse, Houston, Stewart, and finally Dease Lake, where he chose to live for many years and then retire.
Throughout his life, Bob embodied integrity and quiet kindness, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His memorable conversations, countless acts of helping others, distinctive brand of CB radio banter, and witty humor enriched the lives of friends and strangers alike.
He leaves behind his children Shane Keller, Susan (Les) Auston, and Cathy Robinson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Gordon Keller; and sisters, Janet Rogers and Evelyn Keller; and his former wife, Joella Defrane.
Bob's absence will also be profoundly felt by his long-time friends, Ian Wallin, Rob Sivertson, Kim Rowe, and June Louie, along with the countless individuals whose lives he crossed paths with (especially those along Highway 37, 16, and the Alaska Highway).
Bob is pre-deceased by his brother John Keller and his loyal pal Shelby.
