June 1, 1954 - February 29, 2024

Nancy Eileen Sheane was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, but she spent most of her life in the Vancouver area and the Yukon. Nancy lived in Teslin, Yukon where she resided for the remainder of her life.

Nancy Sheane passed away peacefully on February 29th at her home in Teslin, Yukon. Nancy will be mourned by her partner Elmer Jackson, brother Michael (Janet) Sheane, her sister Stacy Hollowaty and their families.

Nancys partner and soulmate Elmer Jackson, were inseparable living a long happy life together for 22 years. Nancy came to the Yukon for a month-long visit where she met Elmer and fell in love. She was the light in Elmers's life, she was his saviour, and she will be greatly missed.

Nancy will be missed by all her stepchildren Dusty, Dylan (Dan), Donedin (Rory), Dallas, and Kim. She also had many grandchildren Hayden, Kyson, Jacob, and Kaliyah.

Nancy had many careers in her life as she was constantly growing and learning. She was a Lead Nurse for many years in Vancouver. She worked in the maternity ward, also was a certified Physiotherapist and helped with end-of-life care. Nancy was always helping others, including helping people with their addictions.

Nancy enjoyed many things including painting, playing piano and most of all helping others she was a born healer. She had a kind loving soul that impacted many peoples lives and she will be missed dearly by everyone.

Nancy will be cremated, as per her wishes. A celebration of life will be held this summer and will be posted at a later date.
