July 30, 1957 - January 8, 2019
Nancy was born in Field BC and went to school there until the age of 15, when she moved to Golden BC and she graduated in 1975. Nancy then moved to Revelstoke B.C. where she worked as a waitress for a few years. 1981 saw Nancy move again to Sorrento BC. where she met Mike in 1982. 1983-86 Tumbler Ridge B.C. where she worked as a newspaper reporter. 1986 she moved to Whitehorse.

Nancy and Mike were married in Lake Havasu City Arizona in 1990.

Nancy worked at various places over the years in Whitehorse. Kopper King mini mart, Food Fair, Super A, and spent 25+ years driving school bus.

Nancy was involved with Girl Guides for a number of years, not only with her own troop, but as property manager of Sprucewind Camp at Marsh Lake.

She will be remembered for her generosity, caring and loving spirit and who was always willing to lend a helping hand, and her volunteerism. And of course HER HATS!!!!!!

With a kiss on your forehead, I send you on your way to continue your journey unfortunately without me, but I know we will meet again.

Nancy, I will always love you and will remember, things will be better, better. Mikey.

Nancy is survived by her husband Mike, brother Robert (Calgary) sisters Karen (Airdrie) and Merle (Golden). She will be sadly missed by nephews, nieces and grandchildren (by marriage).
