With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our friend, Milos aka Dr.Milos.
Milos made the Yukon his home for over 50 years after leaving his native Yugoslavia.
He lived and worked in many mines around the Yukon. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the mines around the Elsa, Keno area until his retirement.
He spent most of his retirement years in Keno City. There he continued to work hard and enjoyed tending to his gardens as well as greeting the many tourists that came to visit.
He is pre-deceased by his parents and survived by his sister.
Although, Milos's family extended beyond just his given family he touched many hearts and made many smile.
At this time, we also want to extend our gratitude to the staff and doctors at Copper Ridge place as well as the Thompson Centre for their ongoing care and support during his final years.
A memorial celebration will be held next summer in Keno City.
