On Sunday, January 31, 2021, Michael John Woods passed away in Whitehorse, YT.
Mike had recently retired from the Yukon Department of Education where he served as an Area Superintendent, ADM of Schools and Student Services, ADM of Policy and Partnership as well as Acting Deputy Minister.
Previously, he was an educator and leader committed to rural education in British Columbia.
A lover of music, animals, baseball, and the outdoors, he will be deeply missed.
