Our Dear mother Iris Victoria Isabelle Cormier sadly passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 89 yrs.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She had so many amazing friends and was a well-loved member of the community here in Whitehorse.
She was predeceased by her husband and our father, Cleo Camille Cormier and her granddaughter Gabriella Heidi Hosni.
She is survived by her brother Harold Short-Evans of Plaster Rock New Brunswick, Her Children and their spouses Joe Cormier & Shirley Frost, Mitch & Doug Dupont, Chris Cormier & Sylvie Desjardin, her Grandchildren Cleo & Sophia Hosni, Andrew & Veronique Cormier and Melisa Mathieson. Mr. Pug, her kitty, will miss her.
Thank you Audrey Loch, Debie Jutras, Diane Porter and Tangie Fisher for all the attention and time you spent with our mother over the years of your friendship.
Thank you to all staff at WGH who gave Mom incredibly kind and compassionate care during her brief stay at hospital.
