1964-2023 ~ There was a celebration of Howard's life November 1 at the Whitewater Wednesday Night Jam in the Local Bar at 7 p.m.
Our friend Howard Chymyshyn passed away September 30th. He brought smiles to a generation of Whitehorsers busking with his saxophone on Main Street.
He will be sadly missed in the community, by his family, friends and fellow musicians.
Born and raised on the prairies, Howard lived an adventuresome life prior to moving to the Yukon in the late 90's. In Whitehorse he found his niche, bringing us his love of music, art, and prose.
He is survived by a daughter and two grandchildren.
