On December 12th Freda passed away peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital with family members at her side. Born in Carnduff, Saskatchewan and raised in Taber, Alberta, she was married in Calgary to Reuben Huber October of 1952. Shortly thereafter they packed up their lives and moved to Whitehorse where they raised a loving family and Freda began her career at the Department of Finance and Land Titles. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and had a life long passion for baking, gardening, camping, fishing and berry picking with her family.
Freda is predeceased by her husband Reuben, sisters; Annie, Violet, Mary, Teana, Joanie and Linda and her brother Pete. She is survived by her brother Larry (Trudy) and her 5 children; Brian, Sharilyn (Tom), Bruce (Leslie), Brad (Diane), and Lorri (Kim). She has 5 grandchildren; Cole (Kelly), Dustin (Nina), Warren (Sydney), Jared (Ivy) and Sarah.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
