April 2, 1938 - August 11, 2018
It is with great sadness we share that on August 11, 2018, Erika Schlueter, (nee Tautorat) born April 2, 1938, left this world to join her friends, family and her many beloved fur babies in the great ever-after. She is survived by a sister Anelise and a brother Sony, who both still live in Germany.
Erika will be fondly remembered for her generosity to all. Erika enjoyed making new friends and always had time for a chat, a laugh and a cigarette. Erika travelled Europe as a young woman before moving to North America. She traveled the US for some time, then chose Yukon as her home, starting at Fireside before she moved to Watson Lake, Yukon. Erika worked hard at her jobs and took great pride in her work always giving 100%, she was much loved by those she worked with and for.
Erika lived in many places in and around town, she made each a comfortable home for herself and the many dogs she had throughout her life, each one very special to her, they all had many adventures and a great life with her.
Erika will be missed by all who knew and loved her. RIP our dear friend.
