June 8, 1941 - March 17, 2020
The late Mr. Colin Robert Mackenzie, also known as Bob, has sadly passed away on March 17, 2020, at his home in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Bob was born in Cape Town, South Africa on June 8, 1941 and went to school at Observatory Boys High and Rondebosch Boys High. He then left for Canada in 1966. Eventually Bob made his way north to make Yukon Territory his home.
While in Yukon Territory, Bob touched so many lives and was deeply involved in his community. He started his career as a printer and then became a diesel engineer. He also taught ballroom dancing, played squash and golf and was involved in agility programs for dogs. Bob also loved music and played his bag pipes and guitar with friends.
Bob is sadly missed by his loving sisters, Margaret and Hazel, his family in South Africa and his Yukon family and friends.
