It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of a Dear Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle and friend Bob Blanchard in Whitehorse Yukon on September 17th, 2020. Bob left behind to mourn his Daughter Natasha (Adam Blais)Blanchard as well his pride and joy his Grandchildren Brody, Kylee and Korie. He also left to mourn his Sisters Diane (Ross) Roy and Linda (Bruce) Donivan and his Brothers Guy (late Chris) Lavigne and Gerry (Cecile) Blanchard as well as a Sister in law Gladys Allen (Blanchard). Bob will be dearly missed by his niece Melanie (Gerry) Browne of Hanmer On as well as Nathalie Sauvageau, Laurie (Ron) Brennan and Debbie (Shawn) Dubien and his Nephews Baby Bruce Donivan, Michel Sauvageau, Travis, Kyle, Michel (Manda) Lavigne and Bobby (Nat) MacDougall as well as many great nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob also leaves behind his Aunt Jackie (Gerry) Phillips, Louise (Belec) Lavigne and Uncle Armand (Late Doreen) Lavigne. He was predeceased by his Mother Therese in 1992 and his Father Onesieme in 1984 as well as his Sister Dolorese (Bob) MacDougall and his brothers Paul and Aurel Blanchard in 2018. Also predeceased by his Mother in law Aurore Rivera in 2007 as well as many Aunts and Uncles. Bob will be greatly missed by his Yukon family to name a few but there's so much more Nicky (Bob) Rivera, Rob (Jackie) Balla, Bob (Michelle) Erdman, Cathy (Erik) Nyland, Christine Allison, Kierra and Kole Smeeton, Porter Creek Pool Hall Family and many poker friends.
To anyone who knew Bob knew he loved to fish, play pool, poker, cook, his Tim Hortons coffee (never stirred) and never had a spot of dirt on his white sox. The next time you get a 7-2 ask yourself what would Bob do.
