Barbara Karen Jewell

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Karen Jewell on the October 14, 2023.
Barbara was Born at the Whitehorse General Hospital on November 13, 1952. She was one of 4 children to long time yukoners Kenneth Johnston & Ethel Johnston.
Barbara is survived by her sister Sandra, Daughter Andrea Jones (Grandchildren) Ashley Dewar & Ryan Jones (Kaylee) Great Grandchildren Emma & Mikey and Sons Robert Dawe, Mike Albertini (Astra) Grandchildren Tao, Gage & Kinsley.
Barb was a long time member of the Elks Lodge, a very proud Yukoner and always had her door open to help other people or to just have a coffee.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Lambert and the staff in the ICU for all they did for her.
There will be a funeral side reception at the Grey Mountain Cemetery on the November 18, 2023 at 2pm with a small reception to follow.
