where was this cabin located

In the November 3 column I mentioned this cabin was near the North Fork power plant on the Klondike River.

In the November 3 column I mentioned this cabin was near the North Fork power plant on the Klondike River.

But, according to Ben Warnsby, who worked around the North Fork power plant area for nine years, the cabin in the above photograph was not in that area.

I think the fellow who lived in the cabin was a Mr. Moreau because his name was mentioned on a paper accompanying the photo. But where the cabin was located, who knows?

It’s a well-built, beautiful cabin. On an envelope with the negative enclosed, it was marked that the dog team musher’s last name was Hoffman. It was an outstanding-looking dog team, as you can see in the photograph. But still, just where was this beautiful cabin?
