Police are asking for the public’s help in investigating a hit-and-run this week in Whitehorse.
The crash happened Wednesday night around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Main Street.
RCMP say a truck collided with a car and then left the area.
Witnesses described the truck as either a Ford or Chevy crew cab, white or gray in colour.
According to police, the driver of the car received minor injuries and was treated on the scene.
His passenger, a 16-year-old, was taken by ambulance to Whitehorse General Hospital, treated for minor injuries and later released.
After a search police were unable to locate the second vehicle.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the vehicle is asked to call the RCMP at 667-5551.
