Whitehorse RCMP were called to two break and enters at homes in Porter Creek on Thursday.
Police say they were called to the neighbourhood at 12:58 a.m. when a resident called 911 and said someone was breaking into his home on Wann Road.
Seven minutes later, a second 911 call came in from a house nearby on Holly Street. That resident reported someone breaking through the back door of his home.
By 1:23 a.m. a 31-year-old man had been arrested, the police said in a press release.
He was charged with two counts of break and enter and a charge of failing to comply with probation.
His name cannot be released until the charges are officially sworn in court. (Ashley Joannou)
