The crashed plane above is the Yukon’s most famous airplane of the past.
It is dated from the 1920s, I think.
The late Clyde Wann was one of the owners. Jim Finnigan was also involved.
There is a small reproduction of the Queen in the transportation museum in Whitehorse.
It’s kind of strange, but I don’t think they saved anything from the original, like a propeller, door or wheel.
I think there were two Queen of the Yukon planes, No. 1 and No. 2, though I could be wrong.
The Queen was used to deliver mail all over the Yukon, I believe.
