I believe the First Nation people featured in this column’s old photo are probably from the Eagle, Alaska, area.
It’s a very interesting photograph of the very old and the very young. I think the old photograph was taken between 1910 and 1925, by whom, I don’t know. I was given it by a friend in Fairbanks.
My friend in Whitehorse, Jack Whitehouse, a First Nation person who was originally from the Klondike, says many Dawson City people are related to Eagle people. I think he himself is related to some.
