Bruce Germain’s letter and information is very interesting and it follows:
Dear Mr. Robb:
I am writing in regards to your Monday, December 15, 2008 Yukon News article on “Little Doctor.”
I have reason to believe that this man was my great, great, great-grandfather.
He was my grandmother’s grandfather, who’s name was Old Doctor, and my grandmother’s father was Little Doctor Jimmy who lived in the Watson Lake area for many years, as did my grandmother.
My grandmother’s maiden name was Lisa Jimmy. The resemblance between my grandmother’s brother, Howard Jimmy, her father, Little Doctor Jimmy, and grandfather, Old Doctor, is quite shocking and uncanny.
If you have any information, or know where I can obtain information and more photos of Old Doctor, I would greatly appreciate your help.
