Kluane trails opened

Parks Canada announced Friday that Kluane National Park has opened the popular hiking areas of the Aay Chu (Slim’s River) Valley west trail and the southwest face of Tachal Dhal (Sheep Mountain) to public access and travel.

The trail had been closed because of bear activity.

VeloNorth Cycling

VeloNorth will be hosting the second in the Icycle Sports Summer Time Trial Series this coming Wednesday.

The race starts at the corner of 12th and Centennial, and registration opens at 5:30 p.m. The first rider departs at 7 p.m. with riders every 30 seconds thereafter.
