Mounties are investigating the death of a 15-year-old girl found unresponsive on the lawn of a residence in the Kopper King area of Whitehorse.
Members of the Whitehorse RCMP’s major crimes unit, paramedics and a police dog were dispatched to the scene Thursday morning.
According to an RCMP press release, the girl was taken to Whitehorse General Hospital, but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.
The investigation continues and foul play is not suspected.
