A 20 year-old cyclist has been medevaced to Vancouver after being hit by a minivan on Monday afternoon.
The accident happened in Takhini North, on Normandy Road.
Whitehorse RCMP couldn’t say what happened exactly, besides the fact the cyclist left the bike path to go on the roadway before the collision occurred.
The cyclist was first taken to Whitehorse General Hospital with serious injuries.
