I am e-mailing you in concern for the well-being of the dog who is on death row. Over the past day, we have started a Facebook group, and have also started a petition to help to advocate for the life of Trevor.

I do not think that it is right that Trevor be on death row. Trevor was an abused and neglected dog, and if he (allegedly) bit someone I assume it would be out of fear and to protect himself. The dog is two years old, and has a long life to live. I believe that it would be extremely inhumane to put this dog down, especially with the circumstances that he was put through.

Instead of punishing him, he should be rehabilitated and trained. It is possible for this to be accomplished for all dogs. Give Trevor a second chance.

Clearly, by the terms of the original contract, Trevor should have been returned to the humane society, and not be given to the woman’s brother. Follow the letter (and intent) of the law and return him to the humane society which will train him and give him to owners familiar with abused animals.
