Open letter to MP Ryan Leef:
On May 21 you sent me an email telling me because I am a member of a Facebook group called “Monitoring Ryan Leef” that I belong to a “little pack of haters.”
So do you hold this attitude towards all Yukoners who dare not support you, or just the ones who have the balls to publicly criticize you?
It is true that Hansard did mistakenly report that you had said you had beat Larry Bagnell by 1,500 votes.
And it is true that I took the Hansard report and misquoted you.
I did indeed accuse you of saying something that you did not actually say, citing a Facebook page that is indeed, as you have reminded me, dedicated to complaining about you.
However, Mr. Leef, there is absolutely no mistaking or denying that your “little pack of haters” quote came directly from you.
Not from Hansard, not from Facebook, but directly from your email to me.
After reading your email I have come to the opinion that your career as a politician will be about as successful as your career
as a UFC fighter.
Short lived, easily defeated and very quickly forgotten.
