In reference to the above photograph, was this like a 1907 patrol car of its day?
Whitehorse probably had less than a few hundred citizens to police in those days. How many Mounties, I don’t know. Just a handful, I imagine.
There might have been the odd early automobile running around Whitehorse’s gravel streets, alongside the many carts and wagons used in those days too.
