Regardless of any other possible reason to register guns, the easiest fact and argument remains: they are weapons, they should be registered.

We register our cars, our pets, money transfers of over $10,000 Ð heck, we even register our kids! We expect people to get fishing and hunting licences. We even expect them to get gun licences.

But there is a problem with the idea they should register their guns?

Is the current registry and process broken? Absolutely.

Should it be thrown out? Absolutely not.
