I am in awe of the social inclusion project’s wildly successful sidewalk campaign. As a campaign with guts, intended to render folks unable to deny the realities of social exclusion, it has prompted widespread, passionate and public reactions.

As more privileged people experience the emotions prompted by exclusion, it’s the perfect eye- (and heart-) opening preparation for further stages of the social inclusion campaign.

Thank you for taking the campaign seriously and for being willing to take risks to address the profound injustices of poverty, homelessness, and exclusion. I am hopeful that further steps of the campaign display the same innovation and desire for change as this daring move did.

Truly, thank you for the commitment this step in the campaign has displayed.
