As countries head to the global warming meeting in Cancun, Mexico, in search of a way forward, Canada has taken its own great leap backward.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper used his senators to thwart Parliament’s decision to at least begin to respond to the crisis. His reason: because he disagreed with Parliament’s decision. And once again, his team will help block any international progress in Cancun.
Perhaps our name tags in Cancun should read Can’tada.
