Fentie government useless
I wish Premier Dennis Fentie and his “old boys’ and girls’ club” would do something besides try to make themselves look good.
They initiate studies rather than act.
There was a poster that showed several hippopotami with their mouths wide open. The caption underneath read, “After everything is said and done, there’s more said than done.” This is true.
Not one cent has been budgeted for feeding and housing homeless youth. I guess that’s because they are not old enough to vote and support the Yukon Party.
That party didn’t have enough money to pay our ambulance volunteers so it hired replacements. Now it is looking for volunteers.
This goes across the board. The premiers of Canada are cowards — all 13 of them. They are afraid of losing a few votes by raising the minimum wage to $10 per hour (even that is almost not enough) for fear of losing corporate votes.
Fact is, there are more low-wage earners than corporate executives, but then low-wage earners can’t donate to the Yukon Party coffers.
We oppress our single mothers. We created them by pushing them to have sex. We oppress low-wage earners. We oppress seniors. We oppress our homeless youth.
Well, there is a lot more to say, but the Yukon Party isn’t listening. They don’t have to. People have short memories.
