Open letter to Premier Darrell Pasloski:
This is to let you know how disappointed I am with your decision on opening the Peel watershed to development. You’re destroying what makes the Yukon so special. It’s one of the last places in Canada that hasn’t been dissected with cut lines and quad trails.
Your idea of having restrictions on ATVs in sensitive areas is delusional. I’ve seen the areas around Whitehorse that are supposed to be restricted. It doesn’t work and you know that.
You clearly aren’t listening to your constituents. You’re not serving us, you’re ruling us, which isn’t very democratic, and we’re paying your salary! I am asking you to reverse your decision and leave a legacy you can be proud of. There’s more to life than money.
