To Yukon MP Ryan Leef and Senator Dan Lang:
I am writing to voice my strong concern that the local Canada Revenue Agency is shutting down.
It seems very ill-advised, as there are many of us in the territory who depend on this office!
Why are neither of you working hard to make sure this doesn’t happen? This closure would represent a major blow to business owners throughout the territory - why aren’t you both very concerned?
It is well known that dealing with faceless voices at the end of a phone line, after going through a bewildering array of ‘press 1,2,3,4,5,6’, is no substitute for a real person at a real desk in your own capital city! I look forward to hearing from both of you that you are working hard to rectify this situation - working for Yukoners.
