It is my understanding that the City of Whitehorse has the tender out to build a roundabout at 6th Avenue and Black Street.
Despite the fact that it has been on the books for many years, there is still not a roundabout at the Hospital Road entrance at Lewes Boulevard.
Once again, I would suggest that a roundabout at the Hospital Road entrance is absolutely critical to get emergency vehicles out of this area and allow people to travel freely back into Riverdale from this poorly designed intersection.
It is a question of priorities - the Black Street roundabout is simply not as important as the roundabout at Hospital Road.
