I have often heard that what industry desires most is certainty. In terms of the Peel watershed, the Yukon Party government seems loathe to provide anything useful for anybody. Perhaps I can help.
The supporters of the Peel plan, as written, will not give up the Peel region to industry. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever. This is certain.
The Yukon Party will not be in power forever. This is certain.
When that day occurs, every action not in conformation to the current Peel plan will be rolled back. Every road will be closed, every bridge will be dismantled, every airstrip will be reclaimed. This is certain.
Invest accordingly.
