A recent first-time visitor to the Yukon, I was very impressed by the well-maintained highways, viewpoints and rest stops available for residents and tourists alike. Even the big smiles of the highway crews as we passed said, “Welcome.”
On a related note, many other aspects of your tourist-ready territory were equally appreciated. Good signage and other information, fascinating sights, personable and well-informed costumed interpreters, and friendly helpful people everywhere complement the natural beauty of the Yukon.
I am already recommending a Yukon visit to others.
