I have noticed many reference in the past to ‘Bert,’ whom I believe is Bert Cluett, an early pioneer in the Yukon.

What I mean by “references” is some mention in books, photographs, etc., to him or about him.

As a matter of fact, many years ago my old friend, the late photographer Dick Magimi, took a wonderful black-and-white portrait of him.

As to the other postcard, it is attributed to “Thorson, the six-horsepower Swede. Eighty-four years old. Kluane Lake, Yukon Terr., Canada.” I haven’t seen any other references to Thorson.
