Open letter to Spence Hill:

If it were not for the efforts of veterans and the military, Spence Hill would not have the freedom of speech to write this complete garbage. And shame on the local papers for allowing it to be printed.

If it were not for the efforts of the military, Whitehorse and the Alaska Highway (which allowed this ungrateful person to have come to this part of the country where their ideas are not wanted) would not exist.

Hopefully this article will generate enough anger within the community that this idiot will go back to wherever they came from.

As a veteran, I am appalled editors allowed this into their paper. Any business that I might have ever thought of doing with these newspapers just went down the toilet.

Do they not realize that the National Marksmanship Finals hosted here in the city probably generated more than $2 million in revenue to businesses?

Hill has kicked a gift horse in the mouth and I would not be surprised if he Cadet Corps of Canada never thinks of hosting any event here in Whitehorse, again.

Thank you, Hill, for slandering and demeaning every veteran in this territory and Canada, and for spitting upon those who have given the ultimate price for protecting your right to spout this garbage.
