The Drillers’ Andrew Zinck and Edwin Vanderkley took charge in this lopsided match up — Zinck led the scoring with four goals and six assists, while Vanderkley had four goals and four assists.

The pounding continued with Mark Daniels’ three goals and two assists and Doug Roberts’ goal and pair of helpers. Rob Pitzel and Craig Hampton added singles.

Logan Freese and Niels Brower scored for Game7 Sports.

Sports North 10

Environmental Dynamics 5

Dale Kulych created an eight-point night for Sports North, netting a hat trick and assisting with five more goals. Stan Connolly was right behind with four goals and three assists. Terry Slonski scored a pair and Rick Olson added a single.

The Dynamics had goals from Brian Douglas, Justin Halowaty, Tony Grattoli and Bradley Barker. Dave Richard led the scoring with a goal and two assists, and Marc Champagne had three helpers.

Oldtimers Hockey

Wednesday results:

Kilrich 1

Edgewater’s Doug Tenney, Larry Warner and Ross Phillips scored one each.

Brian McWatters scored the lone Kilrich goal.

 

Yukon Inn 7

Medicine Chest 5

Dave Pearson led the scoring for the inn, with three goals and two assists; Mike Blower added a pair of goals, and Phil Bastien and Terry Berquist netted one each.

Scotty Lowery scored two for the chest, while Ron Sumanik, Dan Cornett and Steve Reynolds added singles.

Table Tennis

The Whitehorse Table Tennis Club held its first ranking tournament of the season last weekend, establishing the pecking order in territorial ping-pong.

Kevin Murphy leads the club in the overall ranking, followed by Steve Fecteau and Dave Stockdale.

Adam Torgerson led Kal Tire with a pair of goals, and Garrett Heynen, Eric Bookless and Katie Lowey added singles. Lowey was named Kal Tire’s top player.

Tristen Olynyk scored two for the Outfitters, while Patrick Vaughn, Sabrina Clark, Nicole Bendera scored as well.

Lots of scoring and excellent passing from both teams. Michael Bennett led ReMax with four goals, and Camila Lopez and Graham Mainer-Pearson both had two, while Adrian Woodhouse added a single.

Brendyn Gendron, who did a stellar job as keeper in the first half for Remax, was named MVP.

Scoring for Sale Savage were Peter Jo Jensen with three, Trygg Jensen and Kaiden Uiterwaal with singles.

MVP for Sale Savage was Eric Fekete.

Rafter A Ranch 5

Assante Financial 3

Tyson Schafer took top player honours for the Ranchers, while Assante’s most valuable player was Ben Becker.
