A total of 48 runners and walkers took to three-kilometre, five-kilometre and half-marathon distances at the Watson Lake Run.

The fundraising event brought in $1,800 for the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Three runners, all from Watson Lake, competed in the half-marathon distance.

Kevin Foley took first with a time of one hour, 38 minutes, followed by Liz Eddy at 1:50 and Dave Kalles at 2:26.
