Dog, Sundog, Lower Valley, World Cup 10K, Pierre Harvey, and lit trails are groomed and are excellent for classic and skating.
Copper to Best Chance, Upper Valley, Selwyn’s Loop, 7.5K and Monique Waterreus were groomed earlier this week and still in very good condition.
Sarah Steele Outer loop is tracked and excellent for classic. Inner loops are packed. Powerline, World Cup 5K, Raven, Whisky Jack and Coyote are good for classic and skating.
The McIntyre Ascent and Descent are good for classic but recommended for experienced skiers only. Watch for snowmobiles on the Descent since it is a shared trail. The Descent and Ascent may be groomed for the weekend.
Snowshoers are welcome to use the ski trails but membership or day pass required. New trail map includes all the mountain bike single track trails that are also great for snowshoers.
Trail lights are on weeknights until 9:30pm.
Safety reminders:
•Carry a cell phone and let somebody know where you are skiing.
•Be prepared – carry matches, safety blanket, and hand warmers.
•Take a map and know where you are – be familiar with the emergency supply caches that are located on the trails.
Wax Suggestions: Rode Super Blue. If cooler than minus 10C use green. Always carry an extra wax and cork. One wax for the cooler range and one for warmer temperatures.
