A cold weekend for skiing but frequently used trails are in good condition.
Copper to Best Chance, Dog, and Selwyn’s Loop, World Cup 5K, the 7.5K, Raven, Coyote, Lynx, Upper Valley, Olympic, and Stadium were groomed recently. Good for classic and skating.
Most of the other trails were groomed last weekend. Grooming will resume when it warms up.
Shorter outings are recommended in these temperatures. Dress in layers and carry a cell phone.
The Mt. Mac Ascent and Descent trails were groomed last week. Watch for snowmobiles on the Descent trail since it is shared. Take extra food and clothing.
Access to Dog Trail from the Mt. McIntyre Rec Centre is over the bridge and down Ketza Connector. Dogs are not allowed in the ski stadium.
Day pass or membership required when skiing on any of the ski club trails. Passes are available at The Ski Base, at Mt McIntyre Recreation Centre.
