A home-trail advantage did the trick for the organizer of the Yukon Brewing Race Day, the third event of this summer’s DPSAY Hot Hounds Race Series, held Sunday in the Golden Horn Subdivision.

Cynthia Corriveau, the host the event, won both the two-mile, two-dog race and the one-mile, one-dog race. In second for both races, and first in the canicross, was Stefan Wackerhagen, who won the canicross and the one-mile, one-dog in the previous Dog Powered Sport Association of the Yukon event at the start of the month.

Winning the pet dog race for the second consecutive time was Jonathan Lucas.

The final races of the Hot Hounds Series will take place October 1 in the Mayo Road area. More information can be found at dpsay.wordpress.com.
