Feds on ice
If seeing RCMP officers put into the penalty box tickles your irony sensibilities, United Way Yukon has something up your alley.
Six federal departments will be taking to the ice to compete at the 3rd annual United Way BBQ and Ball Hockey Tournament Extravaganza taking place Thursday 3 to 5 p.m. at the Broomball Arena in Takhini.
Joining the RCMP at the tournament are CANNOR; Environment Canada; Department of Fisheries and Oceans; Indian and Northern Affairs, and Parks Canada.
Team fees and money from the barbecue will go towards United Way Yukon.
