Sylvia left us on March 4, 2022 for further adventures.
Sylvia died in Whitehorse after a 3 year battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born in Quebec City and came to the Yukon in 1974 to get rich, instead she found riches in her friendships and adventures in the Yukon.
She wants to thank all her friends for helping her having such a rich, wonderful, full and happy life. She loved you all.
Thank you to Dr. Ken Quong and Dr. Sally Macdonald for making her life easier for all these years and also the Chemo nurses and doctors for their patience, support and friendship during treatment.
And most of all, love to my boy toy, Terry Thomas and his son Mike
Sylvia is survived by her brothers, Jimmy Kitching, Bill Kitching and Graham Egan.
No flowers but if so inclined please donate to Mae Bachur, Whitehorse General Hospital or BCCA for Cancer research.
