November 13, 1950 - January 22, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sheila Taylor, on Friday, January 22, 2021.
Sheila Louise Taylor was born on November 13, 1950 in Odiham, England to Tom and Colleen Duncan. She grew up in Whitehorse with her large and loving family, until she met and married David Taylor. Together they moved first to Calgary before settling in Saskatoon.
Sheila acted as a surrogate mother to her son Ben's friends over the years, welcoming them into her home. This welcome extended to her office which always had M&Ms and advice. Sheila had a long and storied career starting with the Provincial Government, then the Feds, before retiring to become a fitness instructor with her husband David. During her retirement she volunteered with NAFR.
Sheila was predeceased by her brother Gordon, and her parents Colleen and Tom. Sheila is survived by her husband David, her sons Ben and Tobi, her siblings Ken (Laura) of Edmonton, Becky, Gordon's family (Angela Lehwald), children Tiffany (Brian Boyd), Brandon, Jake, Romney and Elese; Pat (Daryl Berube) and their children Kirsten and Craig.
