October 11, 1950 - May 10, 2020
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Stosh on May 10, 2020.
Stosh's family was the central part of his life; the people he loved and teased the most. He had a sense of humour that everyone appreciated and will remember.
Stosh loved music. In his younger years he saw live concerts of the Rolling Stones, Elton John, John Prine, Bob Dylan, The Band, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, Neil Young and many others. How many car speakers did he blow out??
Stosh spent many hours golfing the Annie Lake course and even shot a hole in one on the 11th hole. He loved the game, the company and the views.
Stosh loved his life in the Yukon. He was a carpenter by trade but also enjoyed moose hunting, cross-country skiing, poker, crossword puzzles, bird watching and peace and quiet.
Stosh leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years Margaret, his 2 daughters Sarah (Don), Theresa (John) and grandkids Ethan, Jude, Holly and Barry. Stosh also leaves to mourn his sisters Linda (Don) and Debra, brothers Larry (Nancy) and Rick, as well as extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his mom Norma, his dad Robert, his oldest brother Don and his brother-in-law Doug.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care and compassion shown by the staff on ward C at Copper Ridge Place.
May your heart always be joyful.
May your song always be sung.
And may you stay, forever young.
~ Bob Dylan
